Sergey Savchuk: Energomontaza housing and adequate preparations for winter remain a priority Ukrainians
Over the last week, from 17 to 24 October 2016, the population is attracted to energy modernization of their homes more than 66 million hryvnia. Of these, 65 million UAH will be allocated to individuals on the insulation housing. Another 1.7 million UAH will develop the 15 condominiums for conducting energy efficient measures in apartment buildings. This was announced by the Chairman of the Saee Serhiy Savchuk, commenting on the results of weekly monitoring of the Government programme on energy efficiency. "For two years running the programme of assistance to the population and condominiums with insulation. Weekly, we analyze the demand for it. The result is an indisputable fact: from the beginning of the program, as well as people interested in improving the energy efficiency of their homes, the search for alternative methods of heating, replacement gas boilers on a solid fuel, in the implementation of those measures that will reduce utility bills. The state, in turn, supports them in this and lends the shoulder: the beginning of the program, from October 2014 to October 2016, from the state budget to population and condominiums paid more than 1 billion non-repayable financial assistance for insulation" - said the President. Sergey Savchuk recalled that the demand for the program from the condominium remains high. This fall, for the Government of appeals by 15 to 20 condominiums per week. It is twice more than, for example, in the spring of this year. This statistic once again demonstrates the need of condominiums in co-financing activities. After raising funds from different budgets in energy efficiency measures significantly reduces the cost of the necessary materials and equipment. Overall, since the inception of the Government program for energy efficiency attracted more than 180 thousand families, which together attracted nearly 2.5 billion UAH for housing insulation. Of these, 444 condominiums mastered 56,67 million UAH for heat insulation of high-rise buildings.
