27 October at the premises of the regional state administration was held a solemn event on the occasion of the professional holiday-Day of motorist and roadman. Opening the solemn meeting, the audience asked the Chairman of regional state administration Valery Cow: "every year on your professional holiday we gather in this hall, though the last two years we have to celebrate, mindful of the challenges facing the Ukrainian state. These challenges are forcing all of us to look to the future. Despite all the problems, the country is changing pretty rapidly. With the advent of the new Government, we quite rapidly started to repair roads – these funds have been allocated, declared as transparent tenders. Quality repair and maintenance of roads is a matter of prestige and security not only of workers, but also the country as a whole." The Chairman of the Governor in his speech said that for the first 9 months of the year road transport in Vinnytsia region, the transportation of goods is 22% higher than last year. Many problems had to be overcome in the field of passenger transport , considerable challenges in the road transport sector remain, so there is work to do. Congratulating motorists and road workers on the holiday, Valery Cow wished all of faith and inspiration, business prosperity and God's blessings. For the holiday greetings was joined by Deputy Chairman of the Vinnytsia regional Council Alexander Kachur, from which all the deputies of the region wished the audience good and well-being and new achievements in professional activity. In turn with words of congratulations were made by the Director of the Department of housing and communal services, energy and infrastructure of regional state administration Sergey Volkov and representatives of the city authorities. The best representatives and groups of the automotive and road industries of the region were awarded with Honorary diplomas of the regional state administration and regional Council, Vinnytsia city Council.
