During operative meeting the Director of the Department “Center of administrative services in Lutsk” Larissa Karpyak said that from October 1, 2016 came into force the Law of Ukraine ¹ 1474 “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding documents certifying the citizenship of Ukraine, identity or her special status, aimed at liberalization of the EU visa regime for Ukraine”. The adoption of this law will allow the introduction of a passport of citizen of Ukraine in the form of ID card. Larissa Karpiak noted that this is a fundamentally new system of identification based on a unified population register, which assigns new documents. The law provides one month to align with the regulatory legal acts. It is planned that from 1 November, the changes will take effect. The Director of the Department “Center of administrative services in Lutsk” told about the main changes. So, the passport of the citizen of Ukraine in the form of the ID-card will be issued from the age of 14. Its manufacture will be free. To act a passport for 4 years and on achievement of 18 years of age will need to produce a new document. He already will be paid. In addition, the new passport will operate 10 years. Also on the ID-card will be dealt a number of an individual taxpayer (identification code). This code will be recorded on a special chip, where you can add and digital signature, which will give the opportunity to use various services. Larissa Karpiak noted that the citizens for registration ID-a passport will be forced payment of an administrative fee, which includes the amount of the cost Blanca, personalization, and administrative services. Roughly, this amount is 140 UAH and the service will be provided within 30 days. According to her, if a citizen wants to make a passport within 10 days, the price is 280 UAH. The Director of the Department “Center of administrative services in Lutsk” noted that the Law provides for the right of territorial communities to exempt certain categories of citizens from payment of Poppi on production of ID card.
