In Lutsk, the activities of the territorial social service centres and centres of social services for CIM', children and young people have discussed on a “Bush meeting”
It took place on October 28. The meeting was attended by Sergey Grigorenko, Deputy of the Lutsk city mayor, Oksana Good, Director of the Department of social protection of the population of Volyn regional state administration, Elena Komar, Deputy Director of the Department of social protection of the population of Volyn regional state administration, Tetiana Knysh, Director of social policy Department of Lutsk city Council, Galina Sateska, Director of the territorial center of social servicing (social services provision) Lutsk, Lina Galan, Director of the Lutsk city center of social services for family, children and youth, officials of local government and Directors of territorial centers from the cities of Kovel, Volodymyr-Volynskyi and Novovolynsk. The meeting participants discussed topical issues concerning the social sphere, prospects of work and development of budget requests for 2017. Among the issues discussed was about the fact that it is not necessary to combine the territorial social service centres and centres of social services for family, children and youth in a single structure, because they provide different types of services. Oksana Good, Director of the Department of social protection RSA approvingly to the work of Lutsk city center of social services for family, children and youth. Tetiana Knysh told that the Lutsk city Council, together with the soldiers of the ATO developing a programme of support mobilized and demobilized fighters, which will provide for rehabilitation (sanatorium vouchers), not only for soldiers but also for their families. Summing up the results of the meeting, all the participants were unanimous that the exchange of experience between cities is important in the process of improving the social sphere and services.
