In the Ternopil region will celebrate the Day of Dignity and Freedom
the Day of Dignity and Freedom will be celebrated on November 21 in the Ternopil region. The corresponding order was signed by the Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barna. The event will conduct with the purpose of honoring civil courage of the participants of the events of the Orange revolution and the revolution of Dignity in defending human rights and the European future of Ukraine. According to the document, created by the organizing Committee for the celebration in Day of Dignity and Freedom and actions. In particular, it is planned to spend in the city of Ternopil, other settlements of the region, memorial, ceremonial, and cultural-artistic events dedicated to the Day of Dignity and Freedom, with the participation of representatives of Executive authorities, bodies of local self-government, participants of the revolutionary events in Ukraine in 2004, 2013-2014, families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, the participants of the antiterrorist operations, representatives of public organizations, volunteer movements, youth, clergy. Will also lay flowers to the monuments, memorials, places of burial of the killed participants of the revolution of Dignity, the participants of the antiterrorist operation. In educational institutions, military units, cultural institutions and educational centres, state archive of the region will be outreach activities, including thematic exhibitions, round tables, meetings with active participants of the revolutionary events.
