Igor Gundich: electronic oblast procurement saves millions
842 contracts for more than 23.7 million UAH entered into through the e-procurement system this year, enterprises of Zhytomyr region. Thanks to the introduction of the new public procurement system saved more than 4.5 million UAH. This was announced by Chairman of Zhytomyr regional state administration Igor Gundich. "Zhytomyr actively switches to transparent processes that many people don't like. However, we made sure the e-procurement system, which every month is becoming more popular, not only allows you to work openly, but, most importantly, saves public funds. e-procurement is not only a demand of time but also the development of healthy competition and a good opportunity of overcoming corruption," – said Igor Gundich. For comparison: in 2015, the region entered into 25 contracts through e-procurement system. this figure rose to 33.5 times and is 842 contracts. Most treaties following the procedure of e-procurement was concluded with institutions in the field of health and social institutions.
