In Lutsk, the parliamentary Commission has supported two Programmes that protect children's rights

According to the reporter, a city Program to provide housing for children-orphans, children deprived of parental care and individuals from among them for the years 2017-2021 developed a service for children of Lutsk city Council to protect housing rights of children-orphans and children deprived of parental care, the provision of adequate household living conditions, financial assistance for repair and acquisition of housing for children in the above category, and individuals. The total amount of funds required to implement program 3 million 900 thousand UAH. City Program of social-legal protection of children for the years 2017-2021 aimed at solving the problem of timely identification of children in difficult circumstances (affected by violence, living in families where parents or persons in Loco parentis, shirk parental responsibilities, willfully left the place of permanent residence). In the case of a decision of confiscation of children, deprivation of parental rights, abandonment of a child – providing the child is placed in family care (adoption, custody, guardianship, foster family, children's home of family type). The program also provides the solution to social problems, conduct other activities for the prevention of juvenile delinquency and prevention of negative habits, the organization of substantial leisure of teenagers to RAID on verifying compliance with the rules of trade in alcoholic beverages, the operation the Internet and computer clubs to identify homeless and at-risk kids, the survey of living conditions of orphan children and families who are in difficult life circumstances, holiday events with the presentation of food packages to children from low-income families to the International children's day, the day of St. Nicholas and the Christmas holidays, and the like. The total amount of financial resources required for the project — 1 million 577 thousand UAH. Representatives of the community voted unanimously to support both Programs with Colectivo the period 2017-2019. The Commission members also discussed and supported the proposal to introduce four posts in the staffing of municipal institution "the House of the teacher of Lutsk city Council", and decided to take note of the information on the winner of the development strategy of the city of Lutsk.
