Yesterday, 31 October, at the Congress centre of Kyiv national trade-economic University began the all-Ukrainian competition of professional skill "WorldSkills Russia". Welcomed the participants of the contest, Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman and Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych. Vinnytsia oblast is the team composed of six students of vocational educational institutions. Contestants will compete in 6 of the 11 competencies of the proposed terms of the contest: pastry arts, culinary arts, hairdressing, welding, tiling, plumbing and heating. The competition will last from 31 October to 2 November and 22-25 November. The competition will be attended by 150 participants from 25 regions of the country. The winner of the WorldSkills Ukraine will take part in WorldSkills International, which will be held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates – Abu Dhabi in October 2017. For reference. WorldSkills International is an international non-profit movement, which aims to improve the prestige of working professions and the development of professional education through harmonization of best practices and professional standards worldwide by organizing competitions of professional skill.
