This was during a press conference at the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA said the Director of Department of agroindustrial development of regional state administration Mykola Neily. "In the first 9 months of 2016, Vinnytsia region took the 1st place among the regions of Ukraine by volumes of gross output of agriculture in terms of production and in terms of production per person. The region produces about 8.4% of gross output of agriculture of Ukraine",- said the head of the relevant Department. Currently, in all categories of farms from the area 865,2 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops (including maize), gathered in the square – 790,0 thousand hectares (91.3 percent). Already harvested – 5005,3 thousand tons with an average yield of 63.4 kg/ha (in 2015 – 46,2 t/ha). "This year, due to weather conditions and the correct approaches to agriculture, farmers of Vinnytsia region has collected 3 million tons of early grain. The region has not had such a harvest. Five million tons are collected along with maize, of which 73 thousand hectares stands on the field before harvest. Roughly we will collect about 560 thousand tons, so that there is every prospect to 5.5 million tons of grain. Vinnichchina have not yet received those results. The highest gross yield was in 2014, 5.1 million tons”,- said Mykola Neily.
