In Vinnytsia oblast the increase in the minimum wage will not affect the size of subsidies during the heating season 2016-2017

According to him, the increase in the minimum wage from 1 January 2017 up to 3200 hryvnia will not affect the subsidy for the designated heating season the period of 2016-2017 years. "To calculate the size of subsidies in this cold season takes into account the income for last year 2015", - says in the comments to the initiative of the Government Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko, "So this year for people who receive subsidies, it will be a positive thing, they just have additional funds. Correction of the amount of subsidy given the increase in wages will be held for the next heating season. It is evident that the next heating season, people will receive slightly less subsidies, but their wealth will grow. Little by little we will balance the model at the expense of increase of incomes. Next year is not expected to increase prices nor gas nor housing and communal services",- says Paul Rozenko. As for unbinding the payment of salaries to the minimum wage, according to Igor Ivasyuk it should be noted that now the salaries of some categories of employees are calculated in minimum salaries. For example, according to the Law of Ukraine “On judicial system and status of judges” salaries of local court judge is set at 10 minimum wages. Therefore, if the minimum wage will increase by 1600 UAH, the salary of judges of local courts will increase from 16000 UAH. The government proposes to abolish this social injustice and to raise salaries to all workers evenly. "Raising the minimum wage, if approved, the initiatives of the government by the Verkhovna Rada applies to all without exception working in Ukraine citizens. From 1 January 2017, no employee, including those in the public sector would not receive wages of less than RS 3200 per month," - emphasizes Igor ivasjuk.
