In the Rivne region will judge the village head,who received 520 thousand UAH of illegal benefit
the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region approved and sent to the court indictment in relation to one of rural chairmen of the Rivne region, which is reported about suspicion in Commission of the criminal offense under part 4 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine (obtaining illegal benefit in especially large size). Recall that the village head was exposed in August 2016, while receiving 520 thousand UAH as undue advantage for the preparation of the documentation necessary for granting to the citizen in the property 10 land plots with a total area of 1.5 hectares, which was planned to allocate to the local community and veterans of the ATO. Pre-trial investigation in this criminal proceedings was carried out by the investigators of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Rivne region for the procedural management of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region. Taking into account the position of the Prosecutor of the court of appeal in August 2016 upheld the investigator's decision of the judge about election of village head restraint – detention with possibility of bail in the amount of 580 thousand UAH. Also at the request of the investigator agreed with the Prosecutor, the suspect removed from office. According to article 12 of the criminal code of Ukraine the head of the village alleged crime related to the category of particularly serious in connection with what the indictment on the merits will be considered jointly by the Rivne city court consisting of three professional judges. Reference: for a specified criminal offence penalized by deprivation of liberty for a term from 8 till 12 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to 3 years, with confiscation of property.
