Chernovchane call to honor the Ukrainian language and join the writing radiodyktant national unity
With the aim of underlining the important role of the Ukrainian language in consolidation of Ukrainian society annually on 9 November to celebrate the Day of Ukrainian writing and language, revere the memory of Saint Nestor the Chronicler- follower of creators of Slavic writing Cyril and Methodius. On the occasion of this festival in Chernivtsi near the monument to the chroniclers of Rus-Ukraine (on the corner of Ivan Kotlyarevsky and Lesia Ukrainka) in 14 hours will be celebrations organized by the regional Association of Ukrainian society "Prosvita" im.T.Shevchenko and teachers. Since 2000, this day has become a tradition writing nationwide radiodyktant national unity, to unite all concerned around the Ukrainian words. This year at 11 o'clock on the First channel of Ukrainian radio will begin a radio program dedicated to the action: we will talk about the history of radiodyktant, its members, the conditions of writing, and at 11:30 will feature the actual text. The organization of the campaign are encouraged to join in the labor, student, student groups, entrepreneurs, social activists, create the right conditions for writing dictation. Deputies and officials of the city Council will have the opportunity to write a dictation in the session hall of city Hall.
