In the Vinnytsia region of the driver who committed the accident,which killed a pregnant woman and her child,taken into custody
the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region is performed procedural management in criminal proceedings on the fact of hitting a pregnant woman in the city of Gaisin. As a result of a road accident the woman died and her baby born as a result of emergency surgery. The driver, who was driving the vehicle without the presence of legal rights, and arrested him reported about suspicion in Commission of the criminal offense under part 3 St. 286 criminal code of Ukraine. Now Vinnitsa city court the offender the measure of restraint in form of detention. Additionally, part 3 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine - violation of rules of traffic safety by a person driving the vehicle, entailed death of several persons, - shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term from p'five to ten years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
