In the Ternopil region of cultural workers congratulated with their professional holiday
More than 4 thousand cultural workers, and about five hundred of folk artists of the region, on 9 November, will celebrate their professional holiday. On that occasion, celebrations were held in the regional Philharmonic society. State awards with honours, the Head of the regional administration Stepan Barna presented two our fellow countrymen – Michael COSSU and Glory Bows. More than 60 area residents, who give us unforgettable moments of joy of communication with the world of art that fire of their hearts, their creativity, initiative and dedication to work becomes the driving force of change through which cultural and artistic achievements of the region know and appreciate in Ukraine and the world – also received certificates of merit and distinction. To devote themselves to culture and art is not only a profession but a lifestyle. This path is not always simple, but those who have made this choice, no regrets. At the same time growing up and a decent young. Ternopil region is famous for its Festivals – more than a dozen of whom are independent actions. Everyone who will come to our region, affect its color and originality "Bells of Lemko", "Bratina", "Barshcheuski embroidery" and many other art actions. This year a large-scale celebrated the 100th anniversary of the battle for mount Lysonia to pay homage to the valor of the Ukrainian players – Riflemen. Also a highlight of the region is "Holidays Castles" that will continue and gain additional brilliance. At the same time, cultural and artistic promotion of the region will be actively implemented not only in the warm period of the year. In Ternopil region there are more than 6 thousand objects of cultural heritage, there are almost three dozen museums, their creative achievements are about 3.5 thousand Amateur collectives – of which 335 have the title of "national" or "exemplary" - which is one of the best indicators in Ukraine.
