Students of this same University conducted a survey regarding the use of the Ukrainian language in everyday life and informed about their results. Altogether 623 people. The results indicate that 90% of the residents of the city of Zhitomir consider their native language Ukrainian. To the question "What language do You want to read it in the Newspapers?" 64% said Ukrainian. University professors noted that there is a positive dynamics of the use of the Ukrainian language in the city of Zhytomyr. Also during the round table the participants discussed the provisions of the law of Ukraine "On principles of state language policy".
