Chernivtsi architects exchanged experience with their colleagues in Suceava
Introductory meeting of architects in Chernivtsi region with the architects of the cities of Suceava and Botosani was held in the framework of cooperation of Chernivtsi regional organization of National Union of architects of Ukraine and North-Eastern branches of the Order of Architects of Romania. Exchange of experience of the architects of the neighboring regions was held at the center for urban architecture and landscape ”Uzina de Ap?”. Under the program, the architects also had the opportunity to visit the historic restored the throne fortress of the XIV century, the Bukovina village Museum under the open sky in Suceava, the Church of St. George in the monastery of St. John of Suceava, Sucevita monastery, one of the oldest monasteries of southern Bucovina – Dragomirna, and also see the work of the administration of Suceava. Chernivtsi architects interested in the new Museum of Bukovina, which, after reconstruction had a remarkable three-dimensional solution with innovative design elements, modern equipment and materials. Head of the Chernivtsi regional organization of NSAU Yaroslav Boyko expressed his gratitude to the President of the North-Eastern branches of the Order of Architects of Romania Konstantin GARCH for the interesting programme of the visit and expressed the hope that the exchange of experience between the architects of the neighboring regions of Ukraine and Romania will be regular and vzaimodeistviem.
