In the Rivne region 2 smugglers of precursors is threatened by imprisonment for up to 12 years
the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region approved and sent to the court indictment in respect of 2 associates who committed crimes envisaged in articles 305 and 311 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (smuggling, illegal purchase, storage and transportation of precursors with intent to supply). Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was carried out by investigators of USBU in the Rivne region. It is established that two residents of Rivne region, by agreement among themselves, established a systematic transfer from abroad to Ukraine precursors, turnover of which in the state is restricted and in respect of them applied control measures. For the purpose of masking illegal operations accomplices acted conspiracy, and it was agreed to move the precursors in a veiled form. However, the criminal activity was exposed by operatives of security agencies while crossing one of the attackers of the customs border of Ukraine in the international checkpoint "Yagodin" in Volyn customs and withdrawn from the last 1400 tablets, which contain about 130 grams of pure pseudoephedrine that is especially large size. The indictment in fact be considered the Rivne city court. During the Commission of the alleged crimes the accused faces a punishment of imprisonment for a term of 10 to 12 years with confiscation of property.
