The implementation of the EU project "Center of adaptation of immigrants and entrepreneurs from the area of ATO and Crimea Vinnytsia region" has reached the final phase (photo)

17 November in Vinnytsia was held a press-conference in the framework of the EU project "Center of adaptation of immigrants and entrepreneurs from the area of ATO and Crimea Vinnytsia region" with the participation of Director of Department of international cooperation and regional development of regional state administration Volodymyr Merezhko, project Manager of delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Myroslava Didukh and project Manager Valery Nikityuk. The project is implemented within the framework of the EU Programme "Support to regional development policy in Ukraine", funded by the European Union (90%) and regional budget (10%). The Project was carried out financial assistance to businesses displaced by compensating the acquisition costs of equipment, tools and materials. During the press conference Volodymyr Merezhko presented the status of the project and said: "First of all, we thank the delegation of the European Union to Ukraine in the face of Miroslava Didukh for the fact that thanks to their support we are able to implement this project. EU funds amounted to 320 thousand Euro, from the regional budget has allocated 40 thousand euros. As of financial aid received 23 winners, and the total amount of compensation is received more than 4.9 million UAH. As a result of implementation of the project in Vinnytsia region created 118 jobs. I want to note a successful communications campaign, including creation of project website and professionally implemented activities: round tables, seminars, training for immigrants and entrepreneurs". In turn, Miroslava Didukh said: "This project is only a small part of the complex assistance that the European Union has provided Ukraine as for regional development, in response to a crisis situation, and for the development of the economy and decentralization. This project will benefit both immigrants and the society that accepts them - in this case, M. and Vinnytsia oblast. In addition to humanitarian assistance, the EU provides funds to support people who have lost their homes. Next year we hope to implement several major projects aimed at supporting small businesses for IDPs, support to decentralization and economic development". The head of the EU project "Center of adaptation of immigrants and entrepreneurs from the area of ATO and Crimea Vinnytsia region" Valery Nikityuk thanked the delegation of the European Union in Ukraine for cooperation and assistance and stressed that despite all the obstacles, the project was implemented at a very high professional level. "Today we can speak about the successful completion of the project. All his assets will go to the regional development Agency, which will continue to engage in cooperation with immigrants. In particular, on 8 November, the Agency held a fair loans, where invited entrepreneurs-migrants with whom he worked in the framework of the present project. We would very much like to see this positive example had its continuation". At the end of the press conference representatives of mass media participated in the press tour, during which they visited three entrepreneurs-migrants, who got financial help for development of own business: repair of furniture, clothing and enterprises specializing in the production of means of individual fire protection.
