The Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region, together with the Management of SBU exposed and detained the so-called"criminal authorities"
following the implementation of the decisions of the Prosecutor on control over the crime in one of the criminal proceedings on the fact of extortion of the so-called “criminals” and their associates funds with the threat of violence against victims and their families, employees of the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region and UAS in the region conducted a special operation, the results of which has exposed a criminal group, which specialized in ‘knockout” a non-existent debt. Installed, the arrest of three people-citizens of Ukraine, demanded that one of the doctors in m. Vinnitsa 5,000 U.S. dollars as debt Zobov''yazannya before a local resident, who in turn appealed to the attackers to “help” in the decision of the specified question. In this case, the investigation established that the extortion was not going to return to the woman who addressed them, getting to and from doctor money. During the implementation drawn up by the Prosecutor – the procedural head of the documentary scenario of exposing the suspects, the victims, under the control of law enforcement transferred to one of the accomplices of criminals cash in the amount of $ 1,000 as part of the “debt”. Later, after a sustained pause, the attackers, who met in one of the suburban villages of Vinnitsa detained. At the time of arrest, the latter has already managed to divide between pre-identified funds. Currently, all three criminals is declared suspicion in Commission of crime under part 2 of article 189 of the criminal code of Ukraine, prepared the petition in court about election of a measure of restraint in form of detention. It should be noted that the detainees are involved in other resonant criminal proceedings which are investigated by law enforcement. During pre-trial investigation, the Prosecutor's office would examine the issue of'unity of production on other episodes of criminal activity, and determination of their jurisdiction. Reference: part 2 of article 189 of the criminal code of Ukraine: Extortion, committed repeatedly, or by threat of murder or infliction of serious bodily injury, or damage to or destruction of property, or that caused significant damage to the victim, - shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term of three to seven years.
