During January-October 2016 in the city center of employment on the account were 3797 people who had the status of unemployed. Among the unemployed 72% – employees, 24% – workers, 4% – without a profession. The greatest specific weight among the unemployed are women – 59%, young people under the age of 35 years – 48%. Supported by the city employment center 2292 employed job seekers. As 01.11.2016 registered in GCS 1209 are unemployed. The registered unemployment rate is 0.7%. Deputy Director, head of Department for labor and social protection of population of the city Council GRES I. P., reported on the payment and level of wages at enterprises, organizations and institutions of the city. As 01.11.2016 according to operational data, the arrears of salary in the city amounted to 440,4 thousand UAH. of them 376,3 thousand UAH. – on economically active enterprises, 64,1 thous. – on the enterprises-bankrupts. The average wage in the city in January-September this year amounted to UAH 3915. This is 2.7 times the minimum wage in the country (1450 UAH.). Present at the meeting, the representatives of employers – the members of the tripartite Council, focused on the main problem of the operating companies is the lack of motivation to the legal work and the necessity of amending the Law of Ukraine "On employment of population" on issues that are relevant in the labour market.
