Social activists studied the experience of Chernivtsi municipal territorial center of social services "Care"
At the regular meeting of the coordination Council of the charitable organizations under the Executive Committee of the city Council of the heads of public charities visited the territorial center of social service "Caring" and got acquainted with the experience of municipal institutions of social protection and the support of lonely elderly citizens and the disabled. During the tour, according to the territorial center, the participants had the opportunity to see the different areas of the institution: provision of social, domestic and medical services to the wards, ensuring their physical and financial assistance, local incentives, organization of leisure. Workers of the territorial center demonstrated to their colleagues from public organizations, such as transportation works of "Care" by providing free transportation services for the disabled. The participants visited social store which is not the first year free provides malozamechennyj Chernivtsi clothes, shoes, necessities. This year a workshop for the repair of wheelchairs has expanded the range of services of "Care" for Chernivtsi, which are limited in movement. Seen and heard in the center "Care" that led participants to a lively discussion. In conclusion members of the coordinating Council discussed its plans for next year. In particular, the Chairman of city society of disabled people "Dream" Love Sviridenko suggested that one of the meetings of the coordination Council to be held in the new building, which the organization recently assisted the city Council received, and the head of the regional charity Fund "Family and health" Valentina Melnichuk invited his colleagues to share with the members of the Fund decade of its Foundation. According to the agreed on meeting work plan for 2017 one of the meetings of the coordinating Council will be held at the city of the red cross society of Ukraine. And will begin its work next year, the Coordinating Council of charitable organizations under the Executive Committee of the Chernivtsi city Rada from hearing of reports of public organizations, who this year became winners of city competition of social projects.
