Almost 50 million UAH of financial assistance provided to the Ukrainians on energy efficiency measures
21 November Gosenergoeffektivnosti carried out another tranche of compensation to participants of the Government program on energy efficiency. At this time, the amount of non-repayable financial assistance to the population and condominiums for housing insulation made of 48.37 million. The largest amount of compensation, namely 37,62 million UAH paid to individuals who are attracted loan funds for the purchase of energy efficient materials and equipment. Those who bought solid fuel boilers under the program, lists of 6.54 million. In turn, condominiums participating in the program received from the Government of 4.21 million UAH of compensation for the introduction of energy efficiency measures in buildings. "All participants of the program continue to carry out their specific role: the Government removes the financial burden from households during the implementation of energy efficiency measures, and population receiving compensation, actively attached to energy saving: conducts heat insulation work, sets the metering, and so FORTH, replace Windows and the like, in order to reduce energy consumption and utility bills," commented another compensation of the Chairman of the Saee Serhiy Savchuk. The head of the Agency also added that a recent study of the effectiveness of the program confirm the use of funds by program participants, they reach a significant energy savings as a result of implementation of activities and reduce utility bills.
