In Uzhgorod will lay the stone under the future monument to victims of Holodomor in Ukraine On the last Saturday of November Ukraine honors the memory of victims of Holodomor. The regional center annual national memorial day there will be a funeral procession, laying of the memorial stone, the lighting of candles. The event will begin at 10.30. on the square Post. Representatives of governments, religious organizations, witnesses of the Holodomor and young people with candles in their hands will form a column, which will go to the construction site of the monument to victims of Holodomor in Ukraine (uzhnu medical school). At 11.00 there will be the laying and consecration of the cornerstone for the construction of the monument. The congregation will hold a minute of silence the memory of millions of Ukrainians who died a Martyr's death from starvation. The leaders of the region, the city and community will light candles of memory. Representatives of religious denominations will hold a memorial service. Actions for celebration of memory of victims of Holodomor in Ukraine will continue at 15.30 in the square Theater in Uzhgorod. At 16:00 Transcarpathians will join a national moment of silence and the action "light candle of memory" to join where you can light a candle in the window of the house after dark.
