In Zhytomyr oblast state administration on November 24, talked about the rights of children in the United communities. In the process of decentralization and creation of GSS issues of protection of legitimate rights and interests of children rather important. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta, Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Maxim Vilchuk, people's Deputy of Ukraine Yuriy Pavlenko, head of the Secretariat of the Interfactional Deputy Association "protecting the rights of children – a priority of the state" lying to Lyudmila Volynets, the chairmen of township, village, OTG, representatives of services for children's Affairs of regional state administrations on the territory of which formed GSS, as well as heads of structural divisions of the regional state administration who take care of children. — — "Pilot projects that begin in the Zhytomyr region, as a rule, become successful and form the basis of legislation, and then spread to the whole Ukraine. I am sure that in this time our experts will not fail with a project studying the issues of ensuring and protecting the rights of the child in the processes of decentralization and the formation of the United territorial communities", – noted Yaroslav Laguta. In the field for the 2016 worked working group, which analyzed in detail the situation in each GSS. The main question is how secure the rights of the child. Today in the Zhytomyr region created 10 GSS on the territory of which is home to almost 12 thousand children, including children who require special attention. Very important is the organization of work in the community to ensure the rights and protection of children. Now the communities of the region there is no single approach to organizing work to protect the rights of children. The only community in which created a separate structural unit – Teterevsky GSS. In Ukraine, there are 150 existing communities and only 7 have appropriate services.
