Chernivtsi club "Maximum" brought five medals from the championship of Ukraine in karate

on November 19-20 in Kiev sports Palace of National technical University of Ukraine "KPI" took place the championship of Ukraine among youth and adults. The competition attracted a record number of participants – 519 athletes from 21 regions of Ukraine and was first held in the status of karate as an Olympic sport. In the national championship in the regional team Bukovina "High" was represented by eleven athletes aged 14 to 21 years (coach Pavel Shestakov). Some of them participated in the "youth" of Ukraine, and a number of players already had experience of similar competitions. According to the results of two competition days, athletes won five awards – two silver and three bronze. In particular, 14-year-old Alex Gotsulyak from Storozhinets in the category of cadets, up to 52 kg went to the finals and won the "silver" in the most numerous group (36 participants). Also silver in the team kata among men was won by the students of CHERNIVTSI national University im. Fedkovych Oleg Gorobets and Nicholas Melnychuk. The bronze medal was won Mariana Ursulan among juniors up to 48 kg among juniors more 76 kg on the third place of the podium went up also a student of CHERNIVTSI national University im. Fedkovych 17-year-old Artem Binsar. Another bronze medal but the gold, scored by 18-year-old Rizvan Talbov among young people up to 21 years in weight category to 75 kg. Chernivchanyn played five games, four of which had a landslide victory, but lost to the native resident of Sumy in the battle for the finals. In the last step of the podium stopped, another pupil, "Max", 19-year-old student of cooperative College of CHERNIVTSI national University im. Fedkovych Basil Bindu.
