In Ternopil held a press conference on the occasion of the presentation of the project "joint efforts of the public and the authorities in Ternopil region on the implementation of Security Council Resolution UN 1325", which introduced the Ternopil regional Women's Association in cooperation with the Department of family and youth of Ternopil regional state administration with the support of the Ukrainian Women's Fund. The project aims to facilitate the implementation of measures to ensure in Ternopil region National plan of action for the implementation of Security Council Resolution UN 1325 "Women. World. Security", as well as to raise public awareness Ternopil region document and draw attention to the importance and necessity of women's participation in supporting and strengthening peace and security. "In war in the East of Ukraine the Resolution of the UN Security Council is gaining special relevance. Adopted in 2000, this resolution has been implemented in Ukraine through development of the National action plan for its implementation until 2016. The problem of restoring peace and tranquility in the country, support for persons affected by armed conflict in the East is one of the important components of this document and in this direction we have started is over what to work", - said the head of the project, the Chairman of the Ternopil regional Women's Association,Larisa RIMAR. Igor Cherny, head of the Department of family and youth of Ternopil regional state administration told about the work of the regional state administration for the implementation of measures in the National action plan on implementation of resolution of UN Security Council 1325 "Women, peace, security" for the period up to 2020. "We have developed the Regional target social program of support of family and prevention of domestic violence for the period 2017-2020. It will include activities foreseen by the National action plan and a plan approved by the Ternopil regional state administration. We are interested in cooperation with various community organizations to achieve the ultimate objective of ensuring peace and stability, harmonization of social relations and the achievement of gender balance". The event was attended by representatives of public organization "Revival of nation", "League of women of Ternopil region", "company name Eleny Teligi", "Union of Ukrainian women", and others. Alla BORYSENKO, a famous volunteer Chairman of the NGO "the Officer corps" drew attention to the problem of violence in families of ex-servicemen who held ATO.
