The head of the region familiarized with the conditions in which the wards reside. Then visited a festive concert, which they prepared, and presented gifts. "The government of the region pays special attention to people with special needs. It is important that each of you had a comfortable stay at this institution. Each of you is unique. You have a lot of talent, and you proved this once again", - said Stepan Barna. The head of the region said that the plans provide for the replacement of the roof and insulation of the house – a boarding school. The project will be implemented by the State regional development Fund. In General, you need about 1.5 million UAH. Petrikov DETSKIJJ Dom-internat works since 1967, is designed for 101 beds. In the establishment of Ternopil regional Council "Petrikov regional municipal orphanage-a boarding school" home of the 90 wards of the mentally retarded, who require constant care and guardianship. In 2008, established a youth branch where wards can be up to 35 years. All wards are divided into age groups: 17 children (under 18 years) are engaged in the children's Department, and the remaining 70 wards (18 to 35 years old) in the youth Department.
