In Ternopil regional Museum opens an exhibition "People of freedom"
the Exhibition of documents and photographs devoted to the 25-th anniversary of the all-Ukrainian referendum, officially opened on 1 December in the Ternopil regional Museum. The project proponent is the Institute of national remembrance. The exhibition — information about the 26 outstanding Ukrainian personalities from different spheres of public life. Among them — poets, politicians, military, musicians, scientists, artists. Someone fought for the freedom of the people, the other for the freedom of creativity and thoughts. Fearless through struggle and hard work, they did everything for the restoration of Ukraine's independence in 1991. And still have achieved common goal of the all-Ukrainian referendum showed that the source of Ukrainian statehood is the will of the people. By the way, its result was of great importance: 2 December 1991, Ukraine has recognized an independent Poland and Canada, 4 December – Lithuania and Latvia.
