The appeal of the city Chairman of Ternopil on the occasion of the International day of persons with disabilities
every year on 3 December with the global community celebrates the international day of persons with disabilities. The share of people with disabilities fell hard tests, but they, overcoming difficulties, are showing exceptional fortitude and unswerving faith in life. The elimination of the bar’jers on the path to self-realization of people with special needs, ensuring access to decent education and jobs is one of the priority directions of social policy of the mayor of Ternopil. The result of joint work of local authorities, businessmen and public organizations of people with disabilities is the gradual adoption in Ternopil European living standards for this category of citizens, their integration into modern society. Our main task is to create conditions that will allow people with disabilities to feel equal among equals. The attitude towards persons with disabilities determines the degree of civilization of a society. The whole community of Ternopil, all the Ukrainians in the whole year should the amp’to remember that a number of us are people who need special care and attention. So I want to wish You endurance, health’I, however, it is possible to make a reality of your plans and ideas.
