Rivne local Prosecutor's office sent to court the indictment in criminal proceedings against 37-year-old resident of the regional center, who have committed crimes related to illegal operations with amber, and violence against a law enforcement officer. So, on October 20 this year in Rivne during the dispute patrol officers face a suspicious man and checking his personal belongings, the latter resisted and violence against law enforcement officers, causing at least 10 punches to the head, what caused the recent slight injuries. The attacker during the attempted escape was arrested at the scene by other members of the crew of the patrol police. During the inspection of the scene in the bag men discovered and seized more than 12 kilograms of amber stones. According to the conclusion of Gemological expertise value of the removed stones is 540 thousand UAH. In coordination with the local Prosecutor's office Rivne actions accused are qualified under article 198, part 2 of article 342 and part 2 St. 345 criminal code of Ukraine – that is, acquisition, possession of property obtained by crime, resisting and intentional infliction of the employee of law enforcement body light bodily injuries in connection with performance by this worker of official duties.
