Flu epidemic in the Ternopil region no

This was announced during a meeting of the regional Commission on questions tekhnogenno-ecological safety and emergency situations under the regional state administration on 9 December. According to the head of the Department of health RSA Vladimir Bogachuk, the total incidence of influenza and SARS in the last 7 days among the population of the region amounted to 353,1 case per 100 thousand population, which equals 75.8% to the calculated figure to determine the start of the epidemic (466 cases per 100 thousand population). Over the last week (48) the number of cases increased in comparison with the last week of 36.8% (3751 case 2743), in comparison with the same week last year by 44%. The proportion of children up to 18 years of age among patients was 63.1% (2367 people), schoolchildren: 62,9% of all affected children (1489 people). Hospitalized during the reporting week, 204 people, including 152 children (74,5%). The incidence rate exceeded epidporog in the Borshchiv district – 10.2% (443.4 th cases per 100 thousand of the population in the epidemiological boundary of 402.2). The incidence rate is approaching epdemiology values in Zalishchyky (181 when epidporog 200) lanovets'kyi (319,1 at 323.9 m) regions. Laboratory-confirmed case in the area of circulation of influenza A viruses: in the last week 3 patients RNA detected influenza a virus.
