In the Rivne region, special care for people with disabilities
within ten days of employment for people with disabilities in Rivne city employment center was held a thematic seminar for employers - "People with special needs – special care. Ensure their equal rights and opportunities in employment". In the seminar took part the Deputy head of Department Rostruda in Rivne oblast Natalia karpiuk, Chairman of the Rivne regional trade Union organization of the all-Ukrainian Union of disabled persons Tatiana Voytovich, the main specialist of the Rivne regional branch of Fund of social protection of disabled Zoya Baskov leaders and representatives rinocerous of the enterprises and establishments of Rivne of different forms of ownership. During the seminar the participants were familiarized with the changes in labour legislation. Also explain features of employment of persons with disabilities in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. Businesses that use labor of disabled persons, are obliged to create working conditions taking into account the recommendations of medical and social expert commissions and individual rehabilitation programmes, to take additional measures of safety, which meet the peculiarities of this category of workers. It was noted that in cases provided for by law, employers are required to organize training, retraining and employment of persons with disabilities, according to the medical recommendations of the msec, and in the event of changes to these recommendations, make appropriate adjustments in the terms and mode of work. To better address the issue of employment of persons with disabilities, employers and employment agencies need to cooperate even more closely in terms of expanding data Bank on available jobs, improving the quality of jobs for persons with disabilities.
