In the diocese of Vinnytsia and discussed future steps in the implementation of correctional programs for perpetrators of domestic violence (photo)
within the framework of the annual all-Ukrainian campaign "16 days against violence" 09 December 2016 in the region held a meeting of the working group on the prevention of family violence inter-Agency Council on family, gender equality, demographic development, prevention domestic violence and counteraction trafficking in people. The event was attended by representatives of departments of the regional state administration: social and youth policy, health, the Main Directorate National police, Department of the patrol police in Vinnitsa, training and methodological center of psychological service of the education system in Vinnytsia region, services for children of the regional state administration, center of social services for family, children and youth administration, public organization "Progressive women". The purpose of the event was to discuss the status of implementation of the state policy in the sphere of prevention of domestic violence in Vinnytsia region and addressing issues that require coordinated intersectoral cooperation in the implementation of activities in this direction. At the interagency Council on matters requiring an agreed intersectoral cooperation in the field of prevention of domestic violence, in particular: 1. Consideration of the draft Law of Ukraine "On prevention and counteraction to domestic violence". 2. The status of the implementation of correctional programs for perpetrators of domestic violence in Vinnytsia region: achievements, challenges, problems, their solutions, in particular: - provision of experts who implement such programs, from among the representatives of authorities and educational institutions, centres of social services for family, children and youth, bodies and health care institutions; - a discussion of requirements for such professionals, the quality of such programmes; - ensure the venue of correctional programs; - the mechanism of attraction of specialists, which implement the correctional program; the interaction of the police and professionals who implement a correctional program; - the direction of the correctional program individuals 16-18 years old and work with them. During the meeting participants discussed the problematic issues, discussed solutions, and provided constructive suggestions for improving efficiency.
