The chairmen of the joint territorial communities of Ternopil region studied to attract in the area of investment
the Presentation of best practices and additional opportunities for the investment climate in the region, as well as discuss the key development priorities of the region and determination of the bottlenecks in attracting investors occurred during the round table "the Influence of local authorities on improving the investment climate in the region." The event was organized by Ternopil regional state administration, Management of External Relations jointly with the Ukrainian Institute for international policy supported by the Federal Ministry of foreign Affairs of Germany through the IFA. Its objective is to support the decentralization reform and improving the investment attractiveness of regions of Ukraine. "We try to regularly hold such events in order to convey the necessary knowledge to our local authorities, chairmen of territorial communities, both rural and city mayors. In the future it will give them the opportunity to create an attractive investment climate on their territories, to attract investment, to efficiently and effectively use resources in the territories and production facilities and use of personnel reserve. The learning process of local authorities must continue constantly", — says Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Oleg Shafts. The round table participants exchanged views, shared experiences and made suggestions for improvement of the investment climate and attract investment.
