About this said the Director of Department of international cooperation and regional development regional state administration Volodymyr Merezhko, presenting during weekly staff Programme of economic and social development of the region for 2017. According to Vladimir Merezhko, the purpose of the Program is creation of conditions for functioning of enterprises of the real sector of the economy, institutions and social institutions on the basis of reforms in various sectors, development of international collaboration and cooperation to improve the conditions and standard of life of the population. "Based on the analysis of the economic and social development of the region in 2016, defined the main tasks and activities for 2017, which is aimed at stabilization of work and the development of basic industries production and social sphere. In particular, ensure the stable functioning and development of the industrial complex area; the saturation of the consumer market high-quality food products of own production; assistance to increase export opportunities of enterprises of food and processing industry; promotion of investment in the economy of the region; creating conditions for the development of the agricultural sector and improve its competitiveness; implementation of measures for energy efficiency; improvement of quality of rendering of motor transportation services to the population of the region; development of natural resource potential and formation of national ecological network; improved social and living conditions of the poor, veterans and participants of ATO", - said the official. As noted by Valery Cow: "We have to calculate everything, and for raising the image of the province, increase the number of jobs. In particular, the participation of economic entities of the region in the implementation of investment projects aimed at development of infrastructure of territories and to attract additional financial resources, will create new jobs with adequate working conditions for the population of the region". During the presentation of the Programme for economic and social development in Vinnytsia region by 2017 Volodymyr Merezhko also focused on the development of tourist attractiveness of the region. "The key tourist attraction in Vinnytsia region is the creation of a competitive tourist product, able to satisfy travel needs of our guests. The growth in the number of tourists and increase revenues to budgets of different levels will allow to increase volume of incomes of legal entities and individuals from the provision of tourism services and increase the number of jobs created in the tourism and recreation industry and related fields of activity", - said the official. Also Volodymyr Merezhko outlined the prospects of development of economic potential of the region in the near future: "By 2020, planned creation: 6500 new jobs; improving the competitiveness of domestic products on the world market; expansion of the range of agricultural products and increasing the gross output of agriculture, improving the quality of products; the modernization of industrial production, reducing energy consumption by introducing new energy-saving technologies; compliance with housing requirements of modern energy savings with respect to heat resistance, improve the performance of the housing stock up to modern standards," - said the official. According to Valery Cows, one of the priority directions of strengthening of economic potential of the region should be fight against the informal employment, namely, reduce illegal employment and increase income tax on incomes of physical persons and unified social tax.
