Association of operators of outdoor advertising of Ukraine starts effective cooperation with the Chernivtsi city Council
13 December in Chernivtsi was held a working meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the Association Oksana Polishchuk, the people's Deputy of Ukraine Vladislav Sevryukov, chief architect of the city Natalia Khilko, the leaders of the working body on the issues of advertising and public enterprise "Is". The meeting participants discussed the current situation in Chernivtsi outdoor market, regulatory framework and trends of transition of market development from quantitative to qualitative format. During the discussion the participants came to the conclusion that only joint actions of government and business will lead to positive results in restoring order in this segment of the economy and to improve the visual appearance of the city. In addition, the Chairman of the Association of operators of outdoor advertising of Ukraine Oksana Polishchuk offered assistance professionals Association in the development of normative-legal acts and schemes of placement of outdoor advertizing in the city of Chernivtsi. Ms. Polishchuk emphasized that the implementation of the complex challenges facing business and the Chernivtsi authorities on the issue of outdoor advertising requires effective interaction between all stakeholders: "outdoor advertising Association of Ukraine supports the government in the necessity of the moratorium. Yes, it is a difficult and unpopular decision, but the only way to stop the growing number of new designs for the period up to the development of new normative legal acts. However, it is impossible to tighten and we are ready to help and to involve its experts in this work. During the meeting, we offered assistance in the development of the Concept of outdoor advertising placement Order, and in the development of Schemes of placing of advertising designs. Sure, the introduction and implementation of these standards will have a positive impact not only on business but also on the state of the urban infrastructure," – said the Chairman of the Association and drew attention to the importance of joint actions of the business community and government to economy and improvement of the city.
