SBU detained on a bribe of the Deputy head of the Zhytomyr customs
the Staff of Management of SB of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's office exposed in bribery of the Deputy chief of Department on fight against customs offenses at the Zhytomyr customs. Law enforcement authorities established that the official regularly received bribes from local residents-the owners of cars with foreign registration by not bringing them to administrative responsibility for excess of term of transit transportation in Ukraine. "Dachshund" official averaged two hundred dollars per car. For the same amount paid for the calendar year, the officer has guaranteed to continue to bring citizens to justice. Operatives of the intelligence service detained the Deputy head of Department, after receiving five thousand hryvnias of a bribe from another owner's car.
