an initiative of the Ministry of culture of Ukraine and the European centre for minority issues, Flensburg, Germany, from 12 to 14 December 2016 in Kyiv, hosted a special seminar for civil servants of Central Executive authorities on the subject "the Functions and competence of Executive bodies responsible for policy in relation to national minorities", which was attended by experts from ministries, international and national experts, scientists. The delegation of Vinnytsia region composed of the head of Department on Affairs of nationalities and religions state administration Igor Maleckova and his Deputy Alla Ratynska presented the experience of the Vinnytsia region in the system work with national-cultural societies. The event was held within the framework of the Eastern Partnership Programme of the European Centre for minority issues "minorities and ethnopolitical issues: Belarus - Moldova - Ukraine" supported by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Denmark. A special seminar was devoted to discussion of questions of interaction of public authorities with national-cultural societies, support and meet the needs of ethnic minorities at the national level and at local level. In the framework of the meeting was signed the Memorandum on cooperation between the Ministry of culture of Ukraine and the European centre for minority issues. The Deputy chief of management on Affairs of nationalities and religions state administration Alla Ratynskaya presented the experience of the support office and in cooperation with national-cultural societies who live in the region. In particular, it reflects the experience of the newly established Center of national cultures of Vinnytsia region and its development prospects and priority directions of work of the office for nationalities and religions state administration. The Department of Affairs of nationalities and religions, Ministry of culture of Ukraine and the European centre for minority issues, appreciated the organization of work of regional state administration from the national-cultural societies in Vinnytsia region.
