Regional tourism forum "Community. Development. Tourism." began its work on 21 December, at the sanatorium "Medobory", in S. Konopkivka, Terebovlyansk p-well. Participation in it accept more than 70 participants – representatives of public organizations, tourist companies, local authorities and United local communities. The forum is organized by Ternopil regional state administration, regional Council, NGO "Association of Tourism of Ternopil". Special attention participants of the forum focused on creating a network of Green Paths and their influence on the development of small businesses and communities and the strategic directions of development of tourism in Ternopil region. Also during the event, it was about creating arerecruiting clusters, the prospects for rural tourism, efficient use of tourism potential of territorial communities and the like. "These events form a platform for discussion of various interesting projects in the field of tourism. Here there are a variety of professionals. We are very pleased that we were visited by the Director of the Department of tourism and resorts of Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine Ivan Liptuga. The event brought together people who have the desire and motivation to implement tourism projects. In the budget for next year we already planned to provide funds for implementation of projects creating Green Routes in the Northern part of the region Kremenets and Shumsky areas", - said Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yurii Yurik. According to Yuri Eureka, this event is very necessary for the representatives of the territorial communities of the region. After all, they need to understand that tourism is not only recreation, but also bucetasebundas industry. "In many developing countries, tourism accounts for about 10% of GDP. In some countries every 11 people are employed in tourism, and that 30% of the total exports of services. If in the Ternopil region all tour operators, accommodation facilities, transportation companies, organizers of events will position tourism as an important sector of the economy, it will all work as one system, then it will go to Ukrainians from other cities and foreigners. Here will improve infrastructure, the investment climate, create new jobs, improve the quality of services. This is a complex systematic work that is conducted by the state at their level, and each region in particular.
