Volyn prosecutors have defended the return to the state of nearly 300 hectares of land in Svityaz value in excess of 157 million UAH.
The Prosecutor's office of Volyn region has taken steps to prevent the illegal disposal of state lands. Lviv appeal administrative court agreed with the position of the Prosecutor's office of Volyn and land illegally placed within the boundaries of the village of Svityaz Shatsk district by the decision of the Council of 27 December 2012, will be returned to public ownership. As is already known to everybody, 7 Nov 2016 Volyn district administrative court satisfied the administrative claim of the Prosecutor of the region on cancellation of this decision through which a state ownership in the utilities illegally out of 292 hectares of land worth over UAH 157 million. However, Shatskaya regional Rada appealed this decision to the appeal. Appeals court listening to the arguments of the prosecutors, left the court of first instance in force. In addition, the Prosecutor's office of Volyn also exercises procedural control over investigation launched by the Department of defense of Economics in the Department of protection of economy of the National police of Ukraine the criminal proceedings on abuse of office by officials of Svetskogo of the Board of agriculture and the Department of Goszemagenstva in Shatsky district, which contributed to the preparation of documents and the decision about change of borders of the settlement of the village of Svityaz.
