Rivne local Prosecutor's office sent to court the indictment in criminal proceedings concerning the employee of one of the state forestry enterprises in Rivne region, which actually hid the cabin ladyraven from the account and tried to sell it. It is established that the senior master Ladin, being the official responsible for implementation of protection of forest resources, abusing the official position, in April 2016 personally ordered the release without any permits from the area of forestry, where he held clear-cutting, the car loaded with 26 logs of oak Plavnica 1 and 2 varieties. Same day car with wood was stopped by police officers, and unrecorded timber products, the cost of which amounted to 80 thousand UAH were withdrawn. Investigators and prosecutors of the actions of the suspect are qualified under part 2 of article 15, part 2 of article 191 of the criminal code of Ukraine, i.e. an attempt at waste of another's property by abuse of his official position. Now the fate of the accused will decide the Rivne district court. Reference: specified criminal offense shall be punishable by restraint of liberty for a term up to 5 years or imprisonment for the same term, with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to 3 years.
