In Vinnytsia region Prosecutor's office prevented the production and sale of almost 3 tonnes of adulterated alcoholic beverages
During pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings initiated 19.12.2016 Mohyliv-Podilskyi local Prosecutor's office on the grounds of committing crimes under part 1 of article 204 of the criminal code of Ukraine discovered and seized in the territory of one of households 20 containers with a clear liquid with a characteristic smell of alcohol, the total o’with a volume of nearly 3 tons. Currently in the specified criminal proceedings pre-judicial investigation proceeds, held urgent and primary investigative (search) actions with the aim of establishing the perpetrators and bringing them to justice. Reference: part 1 article 204 of the criminal code - illegal acquisition for the purpose of marketing or storage for this purpose, as well as the sale or transportation with a sales objective of illegally manufactured alcoholic beverages, tobacco products or other excise goods, - shall be punished by a fine from one thousand to two thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, that is, from 17 000 to 34 000 UAH.
