Approved a new "Road map maintenance of road-bridge economy of Ternopil in the winter"
the Executive Committee of the city Council approved a new plan for cleaning the city in winter. New plan (roadmap) developed with the relevant services of the United States and Canada. According to mayor Sergey Nadal, “road map” supplemented by suggestions and its implementation will allow to clear the city from snow as fast as possible. In General, the document is painted phasing in four groups: the prevention - treatment coverage of technological materials that prevent the formation of ice and contribute to its elimination; cleaning - raking, sweeping snow and chipping and stacking shafts; removing – the formation of the snow shaft, followed by mechanical removal in specifically defined snegovaya; - elimination of the ice and struggle with slippery roads and sidewalks. Important is also the system of warning the population through the media about the beginning of operation of technological transportation on the routes of snow removal. The system is distributed on three levels: green, yellow and red. And this is respectively, three, two and one hour, during which the population will be informed about the beginning of harvest and during this time will be able to adjust their plans, and drivers temporarily unable to pick up cars along the route of technological transport.
