The police of Transcarpathia struggle daily with unauthorized trading trees
To prevent illegal felling of coniferous trees on the territory of Transcarpathian region daily involved almost eight dozen police officers 23 December in the region, the police together with employees of forestry enterprises and members of public formations worked 20 markets, shopping areas and potential places of spontaneous trade. In addition, we had at least 6 screens near woodland, tested 93 of the transport unit for the presence of coniferous trees without documents. The law enforcers also checking the rolling stock of railway transport for the presence of unauthorized felled trees. For three days the police of Transcarpathia checked 8 timber enterprises. In General, guards was 6 protocols under article 160 of the code of Ukraine on administrative offences, that is, the trade from hands in unspecified places. Such an offence is punishable by a fine of from one to seven non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens with confiscation of subjects of trade. Overall, it was withdrawn about fifty trees. Recall that in the period of new year and Christmas holidays the Directorate of National police in the Transcarpathian region carried out a row quickly-preventive actions for revealing of offences, floor’connected with the illegal distribution of fireworks and logging of coniferous trees.
