In Vinnytsia oblast the rules of safe installation of the Christmas tree (photo)
One of the main attributes of new year and Christmas holidays is the Christmas tree decorated. At the same time, failure to comply with elementary requirements of security, when installing it is the cause of extreme events, particularly fires during New year celebrations. That is why the State service of Ukraine for emergency situations addresses to citizens with the request to observe the following rules when installing the tree: – place the tree on a sustainable basis, so that branches did not concern walls and a ceiling and was at a safe distance from the appliance; – do not place the tree on a high stand (a chair, coffee table, etc.); – place the tree trunk in a bucket of wet sand, and from time to time, lubricate it; – on the Christmas tree may not be set with candles, sparklers, decorations, flammable materials; – do not use faulty or self-made elektrogirlyandy; – in any case do not light near the Christmas tree sparklers and other pyrotechnic products; remember to use indoor pyrotechnics is prohibited; – children can be at the Christmas tree with garland is enabled only in the presence of adults, turn it off if leave the room; – to avoid fire you can process a tree is a special flame retardant solution. For effective assimilation of all these tips December 27, at the test site of the Ukrainian research Institute of civil protection of head Department gschs of Ukraine rescuers will demonstrate how to set a Christmas tree and use elektrogirlyandy and fireworks and how quickly it can spread fire around the room in case of non-observance of fire safety rules.
