In the Ternopil region increased the number of objects of natural reserve Fund
the Biggest achievement in 2016 in development year of wilderness is a significant expansion of natural reserve Fund area. the borders of the County, there are 634 units of territories and objects of total area 123,20 thousand hectares. The oblast is second in Ukraine by the number of objects of natural reserve Fund, ranked sixth in the percentage of wilderness protection, which is determined by the ratio of the area of natural Saparevo Fund to the square region. Now the shows are 8, 9%. On the proposals of the regional state administration in 2016, the regional Council announced on 12 territories and objects of local importance with a total area of 178,57 ha. by the decree of the President of Ukraine of July 27, 2016 No. 312/2016 "On territories and objects of natural reserve Fund of national importance" declared three objects of national importance with a total area of 193,58 ha. This is important because protected areas are key in the conservation of biological and landscape diversity, ocelis rare species of flora and fauna, which is particularly relevant in conditions of increased technogenic load on the natural environment.
