In 1999 he was drafted into the Armed forces of Ukraine. He served in the tank forces in the Chernihiv region. In 2003 went back to the army on service under the contract. Later lived in Salt. Vladimir Marusich was a member of TH "Self-defense Salesincome area", chatulim 4th-farthing. In August 2014 he was drafted during the third wave of mobilization, training on the ground in Lviv region. Died November 6, 2014 at Lisichansk (Luhansk region) during the shelling of the checkpoint of the Russian "grad". He was buried on November 12 in his native village.
