Ternopil honours the memory'ive of Stepan Bandera in
the memory of the leader of the Ukrainian nation, a fighter for independence and the formation of Ukraine as a separate sovereign state of Stepan Bandera observed in Ternopil region. Participation in laying flowers at the monument and a solemn Academy was attended by the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna, Chairman of the Regional Council Victor Ovcharuk, clergy, civil servants, military, intellectuals and public associations of the region. "Stepan Bandera is closely linked to the region. At the time, he lived in my native village. With his personality are not only legends, but also real cases in the formation of Ukrainian statehood.
