Stepan Barna: the State will continue to support both operating and newly established communities

In the State budget of Ukraine for 2017 is provided UAH 1.5 bn, which can be used for projects on community development. This was during a meeting with the chairmen of the newly created GSS informed Stepan Barna, Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration. "State and saves the policy in the further development of decentralization. Thus, positive dynamics concerning financial support to communities will continue. The only thing required from the community is timely and fair to use these funds", - said Stepan Barna. At the same time, he noted that communities can apply for funds from the regional development Fund. "If projects are to meet certain priority areas, and the working group will give a positive conclusion – they are supported by" - draws the attention of the Chairman of regional state administration. In addition, in his opinion, will contribute to the improvement of infrastructure in the communities and working closely with members of Parliament from the region, through the use of means of a subvention on socio-economic development of individual territories. "The success of everyone, including and local communities depends on several elements: close cooperation with local authorities; work towards the implementation of the delegated powers; joint projects; joint efforts with deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers in attracting additional funds. To achieve this you need to use the real opportunities that are at hand," - said Stepan Barna. Recall that in 2016 the United territorial communities of the region have been implemented projects for a total amount of 135 million UAH. "This is an unprecedented amount that was provided to the communities of the region due to the position of the President of Ukraine, the policy of decentralization of the Government and members of Parliament who support the thrust of reform," - said Stepan Barna. In addition, the history of the region communities were able not only to reach "zero", but also to increase their income. Own revenues of the budgets of the consolidated territorial communities grew 257,7 mln.: in 2015 they amounted to 86.5 million UAH. and in 2016 - 344,2 million UAH.
