Ternopil region is preparing for a possible complication of weather conditions
the Meeting of the operational headquarters of the coordination of actions on liquidation of consequences of emergency situations (events) in the region in autumn and winter when the regional Commission on questions tekhnogenno-ecological safety and emergency situations of the regional state administration took place on January 5 in the Management DSNS of Ukraine in the Ternopil region, chaired by head of regional state administration, Chairman of the regional Commission on questions tekhnogenno-ecological safety and emergency situations under the regional state administration Stepan Barna. The event was attended by representatives of the service of civil protection of the region, as well as, audio conference, heads of the regional commissions on emergency situations in the state. On the agenda heard on many important issues. Special attention was paid to the implementation of activities related to the predictable complications of weather conditions. After all, according to Ukrgidromettsentr, in connection with the invasion of Arctic air in the Region is expected sharp decrease in temperature: at night, sometimes up to 20-26° C and up to 11-17° C in the afternoon. To ensure rapid response to possible emergencies and hazardous events associated with the complication of traffic, communication and energy supply of settlements, district state administrations and services of civil protection of the region is mandated to ensure the readiness of available forces and means to respond in case of possible deterioration of weather conditions. The Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna noted that one of the primary vital issues that are before the Public authorities is to take care of safe functioning of all segments of the population, unfettered transport communication between settlements of the region and stable energy supply. Reporting on the state of readiness of units of the office of DSNS Ukraine in Ternopil region head of Department DSNS of Ukraine in the Ternopil region the Colonel of service of civil protection Victor Mosley stressed that the divisions of gschs ready for action purpose and will be on duty in the strengthened mode. Also, if necessary, will deploy mobile points of heating and life support. Fire-rescue units of the region, if necessary, will provide people with all necessary assistance within their competence.
